Full Color® Cards

full_color_solitaire_separator_black_top_1200x10.png
full_color_cards_1_suit_games@2x.png

An Original Deck consists of 125 Full Color® Cards of 4 Blue Suits & 1 White Suit each with 25 cards per suit  to create 5 different card sets for you to choose from below in every game of FreeCell.

full_color_solitaire_separator_black_top_1200x10.png

Each “Card Set” defines the total number of ranks in each suit and therefore:

  1. Full Color® Spider • 1 Suit 13 •  Levels 1 & 2    uses a 13 Card Set with 13 cards per suit  •  65 cards to sort
  2. Full Color® Spider • 1 Suit 16 •  Levels 3 & 4    uses a 16 Card Set with 16 cards per suit  •  80 cards to sort
  3. Full Color® Spider • 1 Suit 19 •  Levels 5 & 6    uses a 19 Card Set with 19 cards per suit  •  95 cards to sort
  4. Full Color® Spider • 1 Suit 22 •  Levels 7 & 8    uses a 22 Card Set with 22 cards per suit  •  110 cards to sort
  5. Full Color® Spider • 1 Suit 25 •  Levels 9 & 10  uses a 25 Card Set with 25 cards per suit  •  125 cards to sort

Each Card Set consists of a Level with “Undo” and a second Level with “No Undo”.

It doesn’t take long to realize that each increase in a card set is proportionately more challenging to play and win. Some games can be won in under 2 minutes while others can take well over an hour to solve depending on your degree of experience and mastery of play.

GAME RULES

full_color_solitaire_separator_black_top_1200x10.png

How to Play!

  1. The goal of Spider 1 game is to place all cards in play into their (8) colored & (1) white foundations.
  2. Spider 1 Suit, regardless of what Card Set you choose, is played with (2) decks of Full Color® Cards.  Spider 1 Suit: uses (4) blue suits as the single colored suit and (1) white suit per deck and then that is duplicated for a total of (8) blue suits and (2) white suits multiplied by the total number of cards in each ranking suit.
  3. White cards are “free cards” and can be removed from the tabletop and placed in the Any White Card™ Foundation which also serves as the “Waste” pile as soon as they become a top card or are dealt out into the draw pile from the stock without any numerical or sequential restrictions.
  4.  Sort the cards down in sequence from the High Card through 1 (e.g. 13~1 for Spider 13 & 25~1 in Spider 25) in the blue colored suits before the stack of cards may be moved into their colored foundation.
  5. The entire sequence of colored cards must be completely assembled from in the tableaus before they can be moved to a foundation. (e.g. 13~1).
  6. Any sequence of cards or “portion of a sequence” may be moved as a group. Once an out of sequence card is put on top of any other sequenced cards, that sequence above it can not be moved until the out of sequence card has been removed thusly “untrapping” the stack of sequenced cards.
  7. You will deal out more cards from the stock when you can't make any more moves due to trapped cards.  One new card from the "Stock" pile will be placed on every single tableau on every deal until the stock is exhausted.
  8.  Once all the cards are moved to their completed foundations or all the cards are dealt out of the "Stock" pile and you can’t make any more moves, the game is over.
  9. Use Gestures and Touch / Tap Preferences to Undo, Redo and Automove cards to obtain the highest scores, shortest time and fewest possible moves.
  10. Check your Scoring against others around the world in the Competition section.

GAME SCORING & SPECIFICATIONS

Real time tracking of your moves, time and scores and more are in the score bar at the bottom of every game!

The key to rising up the leaderboards, winning achievements, awards, competitions and real money is understanding how the Full Color® Solitaire Game Scoring System works.

GAME SCORING

full_color_solitaire_separator_black_top_1200x10.png
full_color_solitaire_separator_black_bottom_1200x10.png
MOVES, SPEED & BONUSES

A player’s final score is based on these three factors that are common across all card sets and all levels!

The key to getting the highest scores, rising up the leaderboards, winning achievements, awards, competitions and real money is understanding how the Full Color® Solitaire game scoring system works.

NUMBER OF MOVES

One of the keys to obtaining the highest possible scores in a game is the efficiency in which you play the game.  This efficiency is revealed in the number of moves that it takes you to complete a game.  You can actually solve a game faster than someone else but end up with a lower score because you made too many moves in the end as you are penalized for each and every move you make and worse, the types of moves you make.

If you can move a card from a tableau to a tableau to free up and move another card or stack of cards below it, you will only have points deducted for a single move.  If you move a card to a open cell and then back to a tableau you will have points deducted for the move to the an open cell and more points to move the card back to a tableau.  If you could have moved it from tableau to tableau instead, not only do you waste an extra move to an open cell, you waste time and these types of inefficient moves reduce your final score quickly.

If you move a card to a color foundation and then need to bring it back down to a tableau, to facilitate or free up another card to progress the game, you will be penalized for that move as well.  You should be very careful how you move cards around if you want to obtain the highest possible scores and consider combinations of Tableau to Tableau moves instead of FreeCell moves if possible.

SPEED OF PLAY

A player is penalized -5 points per second from the beginning of the play until they either Win or Surrender the game which locks in their final score.  The more time you sit and think about what card or stacks or cards to move, the more points you lose in all games that are in Competition Mode.  Naturally, the faster you can play the game, the higher your score is going to be at the end because you didn’t lose any points due to any wasted time.  In summary, speed is paramount in obtaining high scores.

BONUS FOR WINNING

If you should succeed in winning a game you will be awarded a sizable bonus based on the Level of play you are on. The higher the card set and complexity to win, the higher the bonus!
