FULL COLOR® SOLITAIRE IN THE CLASSROOM
It's more than just fun and games while children learn to compete with their skills
Full Color® Spider 1, 2 and 4 Suit are some of our most dynamic games because there are levels within levels of game play.
In this article you will find a high level overview of each one. (Links to the full How to Play sections for the Spider 1, 2 and 4 Suit game formats are found are the bottom of this article)
Each version uses the exact same formulas but add more and more challenges as the card sets increase from 13 to 16, 19, 22 & 25 card sets, creating a second level of challenges within the first level of 1, 2 or 4 suits per game.
The formulas inside each game format create a multitude of ways to teach your kids how to be competitive in the class room by engaging in mental sports by using their brains and not just their bodies in a sports center while keeping them entertained all at the same time!
Below you'll find a short video of each version as the game starts and then a second video of the games in progress!
SIMPLE SORTING WITH SPEED AND LOGIC
One of the fastest ways to teach competitive speed and logic is through Spider 1 Suit.
Spider games are of sorting out identical suites where as Klondike sorts out alternating colors.
All Spider games are premised on simply finding the next lowest number in identical colored suits and stacking it in numerical order just as fast as you can find them. It requires simple logic in to make intelligent decisions in order to not get your stacks of cards trapped in order to win the game!
One of the magical things about all of our sorting games, is that we still have yet to ever find any game of Full Color® Spider that cannot be solved. That means every game that is played will result in a true, authentic challenge and competition against one's self as much as against everyone else playing the exact same game seed and shuffle.
If the player can't solve the game or they didn't beat their competitors and it's not because the game cannot be solved, it's because they made a bad or series of inefficient moves somewhere along the way. It's like game of mathematical chess.
That means, as a teacher you can confidently assure your students that if they didn't win, they just made a wrong move somewhere along the way and to try a different sorting process until they do!
Each game and level pits one person's mind against the other and the winner is based on pure skill and nothing else.

ADVANCED SORTING WITH SPEED AND LOGIC
A second color introduces an entirely new level to the competitive speed and sorting logic.
Spider 2 suit takes the same suit sorting process to an entirely new level because now the player has an emotional conundrum of stacking cards on top of other cards that don't belong in order to uncover and unlock the cards in the blue or orange suit that do! It slows the player down and forces them to think it out while trying to beat their competitors score all at the same time bringing a new level of challenges and excitement to the same color sorting games of Spider!

COMPLEX SORTING WITH SPEED AND LOGIC
Sorting (2) separate sets of (4) color suits introduces the master level to competitive speed and sorting logic.
Spider 4 suit is the master level of all of our sorting games as it takes the sorting process to an entirely new level because now the player has an even greater emotional conundrum and challenge of stacking cards on top of other cards with fewer and fewer choices to move cards that don't belong in order to uncover and unlock the cards in the other three color suits where the necessary card is hiding! It slows the player down and forces them to think it out while trying to beat their competitors score all at the same time bringing a new level of challenges and excitement to the same color sorting games of Spider!

Spider 4 Suit is our closest comparison to playing a game of mathematical chess. Each game and level pits one person's mind against the other and the winner is based on pure skill and nothing else.
